British police announced on Sunday that two people were killed in an explosion at a house in the city of Bristol, southern England, describing the incident as suspicious.
They said three others, including a child, suffered minor injuries, according to the Oman News Agency.
Police described the incident as major but confirmed that it is not being treated as terrorism-related.
In a statement, police said officers are conducting investigations at a property in Bristol linked to the explosion, noting that the inquiry is still in its early stages.
They also ruled out significant damage to other nearby properties.
