Israeli occupation forces arrest 15 Palestinians in West Bank raids

Israeli occupation forces continued their campaign of mass arrests across the occupied West Bank early on Sunday, detaining 15 Palestinians, including a journalist and children, during widespread raids and search operations, according to the Prisoners’ Media Office.

The office said on its website that occupation forces carried out a wide-scale arrest campaign in the town of Attil in Tulkarm province, detaining several Palestinians.

In Hebron province, the enemy forces arrested two children in the town of Sa’ir, as well as a journalist in al-Dhahiriya. Additional arrests were also reported in Sa’ir.

In al-Bireh province, Israeli troops raided the city and arrested two Palestinians from al-Amari refugee camp.

In Tubas province, one Palestinian was arrested in the town of Tayasir, while another arrest was reported in the town of Tuqu’ in Bethlehem province.

In Jenin province, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian during a raid on the town of al-Silah al-Harithiya.

In Tulkarm province, another Palestinian was arrested in Tulkarm refugee camp.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office said the escalating mass arrest campaigns, accompanied by field interrogations and physical assaults against residents, reflected what it described as a policy of collective punishment against Palestinians, particularly in areas subjected to repeated military raids and continued targeting of former prisoners and their families
