Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, said on Saturday that the recent American designation of Ansarullah as a terrorist organization has neither legal nor moral basic.
This came during his meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, during which they discussed issues related to the Foreign Ministry activities and its communication with a number of ambassadors of the countries sponsoring the political settlement process and efforts to bring peace to Yemen.
The meeting touched on the results and implications of the US Department of State’s recent decision on the designation of Ansarullah, which coincided with the end of the US administration headed by former President Donald Trump.
In this regard, the Prime Minister condemned the late American administration’s position that is totally biased towards the aggression countries.
Dr. bin Habtoor directed the Ministry to continue its diplomatic and humanitarian activities in a way that serves the just Yemeni cause and explains the grievance of the Yemeni people to the world.
