One Israeli killed, several injured in multiple shootings inside ’48 territories

Israeli media outlets reported that one settler was killed and at least six others were injured on Saturday following a shooting operation carried out across multiple locations inside the occupied ’48 territories, in the area near Qalqilya.

According to initial reports, the operation unfolded across several towns and junctions, triggering a widespread security response and the deployment of Israeli police forces to the scene.

Israeli media reported that the shooting took place across four separate locations, including Kochav Ya’ir, Tzur Yitzhak, Tzur Natan, and Sla’it, all situated north of the occupied West Bank.

The affected areas lie in proximity to Qalqilya, within what Israeli authorities classify as inside the “Green Line,” though geographically close to Palestinian population centers in the northern West Bank.

Reports indicated that the shooters opened fire in rapid succession across multiple sites, causing panic and confusion among settlers in the area.

According to Israeli sources, the operation resulted in one fatality and six injuries among the illegal settlers, with some of the wounded reported to be in serious condition.

Israeli police stated that one person was killed at the scene, while a second individual was detained in connection with the shooting.

Occupation security forces launched a large-scale search operation across surrounding areas following the incident, with roadblocks and patrols deployed to prevent further movement.

Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir issued a sharply worded statement in response to the incident, calling for the execution of any person involved if captured alive.

“If he is captured alive, he will be executed. This is the law, and we will demand its implementation. Whoever kills a Jew will be hanged,” Ben-Gvir said, according to Israeli media reports.
