activists on the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter criticized the negligence of the Saudi authorities in the pilgrims security that led to 87 people died and more than 184 people were injured when a crane collapsed in the Muslim holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
Activists pointed out that the crane fell when there were tens of thousands of pilgrims inside Mecca Mosque. They called the Saudi authorities to carry out their duty in protecting the pilgrims and worshipers, demanding an investigation into the tragic incident.
Sources said that the crane fell into the Mosque expansion project during rainfall in Mecca on الجمعة evening.
