The Yemeni army backed by Popular Committees fired three homemade ballistic missiles “Zelzal-2” at the positions of mercenaries of the Saudi-led coalition northeast of the capital, Sana’a.

The missile command of the Yemeni army announced that it has targeted and hit the gatherings of Saudi mercenaries in Nihm District in Sana’a Province with the three Zelzal-2 missiles, the Arabic-language al-Ahed news website reported.

In another operation, the Yemeni forces pounded the positions of the Saudi military in the kingdom’s southwestern provinces of Najran and Jizan, killing a number of the Saudi servicemen, according to the report.

A spy drone belonging to the Riyadh-led coalition was also shot down by Yemeni air defense forces in the southwestern province of Taiz.

The attacks by the Yemeni forces were carried out in retaliation for the continued massacres of civilians by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.
