The Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday launched two attacks on positions of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led aggression in Asir region, a military official told Saba News Agency.
According to the official,the first the battle, which took place in front of Alb crossing left dozens of the Saudi-hired mercenaries dead and wounded.
The official comforted that army forces inflicted heavy casualties on the mercenaries’ ranks during a second attack which targeted their positions in East Majazah, the official said.
On Friday,the Yemeni army repelled an attack carried out by Saudi army’s mercenaries off Alb crossing, killing and wounding tens of them.
