Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e has said on Sunday that the Yemeni Air Force has conducted new drone attacks on Abha International Airport and Khalid Airbase in Khamis Mushayt in the Asir province in southern Saudi Arabia.

Yahya Sare’e indicated that a number of Qasef-2k drones have attacked important military targets at Abha International Airport King Khalid Airbase. He confirmed that the attack on Abah airport targeted the control tower and caused the disruption of air navigation at the airport.

Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said that Yemen resumed its drone attacks this morning by bombing the control tower at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushayt. He added that the Qaef-2K drones hit their target with precision, inflicting heavy Saudi casualties in the airbase.

The Brigadier General further confirmed that “these retaliation strikes came in response to the crimes of aggression, its continued siege and the 17 air strikes against the Yemeni people over the past hours.”

“The military operations will continue as long as (Saudi-led aggression coalition) continues its aggression and siege,” Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e concluded.
