Yemeni Scholars Association offered its deepest condolences to the Iranian Muslim people, the Islamic Republic and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, for the martyrdom of a senior Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
The Iranian scientist, who headed the Defense Ministry’s Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, was targeted on Friday in a multi-pronged attack involving at least one explosion and machinegun fire by a number of assailants in Absard city of Tehran Province’s Damavand County.
The Association called on Muslims to stand with Iran against its global conspiracy.
The Association of Yemeni Scholars said in a statement on Sunday that the American imperialist regime and the Zionist-Jewish project bear hostility to Islam, Muslims and all bright minds.
It stressed that the treacherous targeting and the sinful assassination of Fakhrizadeh is as much as it is targeting of a scientist, who terrifies and frightens the Zionist entity, and the Republic of Iran, but it is a target for all Islamic minds.
It emphasized that the assassination of the scientist Fakhrizadeh requires all Muslims and their scientific and political elites to stand responsible with Iran in the face of the targeting and global conspiracy it is exposed to.
