The Ministry of Human Rights described the United Nations and its organizations and bodies, concerned with human rights and protection, as faded due to failure in responding to the voices of the bereaved children, women and elderly people in Yemen.

The Ministry stated in a statement, issued on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day that the United Nations, which claims to protect human rights in the world, stands on the side of violators of human rights in Yemen.

The Ministry wondered how the world and the United Nations can celebrate the International Day of Human Rights, and there are violations and crimes committed by the US-Saudi aggression against the entire people of Yemen for six years, which amount to war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity committed by the Saudi and Emirati regimes.

The statement explains that the world knows about the coalition of aggression against Yemen, led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The Ministry of Human Rights called on the United Nations and the international community to stop double standards, and save human principles and rights from the violations they are subjected to, making them just ink on paper that has no impact.

The Ministry renewed its call on the international community and the United Nations to raise their voices in establishing the right and ending the aggression, killing, destruction and siege practiced by the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen for nearly six years.

It holds the United Nations, the international community and the Human Rights and Security Councils to be fully responsible for the aggression and siege that the Yemeni People have been subjected to.
