The National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs has condemned the execution of two Yemeni prisoners of war by the Saudi kingdom.

The Committee said in a news statement that the Saudi regime executed dozens of Saudi citizens as well as two Yemenis recently.

The statement affirmed that the execution is “a flagrant of all laws and covenants confirming the respect of prisoners of war without being subjected to any harm.”

“Additionally, the execution of the two captives, Hakim Matari Yahya al-Batini and Haider Ali Haider al-Shawdani, by the Saudi regime, is a dangerous precedent against prisoners,” the Committee said.
