Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Saturday stressed the importance of the institutional leading role of the Ministry of Planning and Development in the strategic planning for the national development.
The Prime Minister praised, during his meeting with Minister of Planning and Development Abdulaziz Al-Komaim, the cumulative experiences that the ministry possesses in the fields of planning and statistics, and the need to benefit from them by all central and local institutions.
He affirmed the government’s appreciation and support for the ministry and its various programs and efforts to continue its vital role.
In the meeting, The Minister of Planning and Development reviewed the main headings of the ministry’s plan for the current year, and the level of its achievement of the various activities entrusted to it.
Al-Komaim confirmed the ministry’s commitment and keenness to carry out its national and functional responsibilities and not to give in to the challenges and difficulties resulting from the exceptional phase that Yemen is going through.
