The Ansarullah Political Bureau has condemned the burning of a copy of the Quran, Islam’s holy book, by a Swedish-Danish right-wing extremist in the Swedish Capitol, Stockholm, considering it a hostile step against Islam and Muslims.
In a statement issued today, the political bureau blamed the Swedish government for the despicable and irresponsible act of this demonstration that it allowed to take place.
“The repeated hostile acts witnessed in the West against Islamic sanctities reflect the moral and political bankruptcy reached by Western governments, and their failure to manage the affairs of their countries,” the statement said, adding “it is not justified for them to antagonize Muslims in the countries of the world to divert the attention of public opinion from the structural problems they suffer from.”
Ansarullah reiterated that all Muslims are concerned with a firm response to hostile acts against their holy sites.
