The Minister of Transport in the National Salvation Government, Abdulwahab Al-Durra, called on Monday for allowing international airlines to operate flights through Sana’a International Airport to several international destinations in accordance with international laws and conventions.

During his meeting with the Director of the Office of the UN Envoy, Roxane Bazargan, Al-Durra stressed the need to open new destinations of importance to the Yemeni citizen, such as Cairo, India and others, as a legal right.

Al-Durra urged the office of the UN envoy to pressure the other party on the need to return the six flights to relieve the current pressure on travel tickets by citizens, especially patients, as well as the speedy opening of other destinations without procrastination.
