The Minister of Information in the caretaker government Dhaifallah Al-Shami emphasized on Monday that the military operations conducted by the Yemeni Armed Forces stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance.
He highlighted that these operations against the Zionist entity will escalate, targeting more areas and assets until the aggression against Gaza ceases.
“The heroic operation carried out by the Yemeni Naval Forces is part of an escalating series of responses in support of our brothers in Palestine,” Al-Shami said in a statement to the Unews agency. “These operations, targeting Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, may extend to encompass additional regions and objectives. We’ve consistently declared our unwavering support for our Palestinian brothers, relying on Allah in our actions.”
He added, “The targeting of these two ships will profoundly affect the strategic dynamics of the ongoing battle waged by Israel against our Palestinian brethren.”
Responding to media speculation from Saudi coalition outlets regarding a potential peace deal with Yemen, the Minister of Information remarked, “These leaks emerge amid the ongoing intensity of the conflict, particularly after the announcement by Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi about our direct involvement in combat against the Israeli entity, a move that received widespread acclaim from the Yemeni populace. Thus, the enemy aims to spread such rumors to quell the growing indignation and resentment among Yemeni citizens.”
Al-Shami continued, “Our stance regarding any agreements in this context remains resolute and immutable, in fact, it has strengthened. They seek to divert attention from our opposition to America and Israel. These leaks are orchestrated by Zionists and Americans against our nation through subtle, media-driven political tactics. We will disclose everything at the appropriate time, whether it involves peace negotiations or warfare.”
He emphasized further, “In recent times, they attempted to incite conflict and instigate war through their proxies but have encountered frustration. Any actor today aligning with Zionism will be viewed as serving Israel. This is the manner in which we will confront both internal and external individuals associating themselves with the Israeli entity.”
