Thousands rally for Palestine in London

Thousands of Palestine supporters gathered on Saturday in the British capital, London, in solidarity with Gaza in the face of the Zionist genocidal war they are being subjected to for the third month in a row.

Thousands of Britons responded to the call of organizations in solidarity with Palestine, most notably the Palestinian Forum in Britain, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Friends of Al-Aqsa Foundation, the Islamic League in Britain, the “Stop the War” Coalition, and the “Stop Nuclear Weapons” Coalition Association.

The participants in the demonstrations once again raised Palestinian flags and slogans rejecting the genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians. They also called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and the lifting of the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

Saturday’s London demonstration comes after the UN Security Council failed Friday to pass a resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza due to the American veto, while Britain abstained from voting.
