The city of Aden witnessed a new alert by the tribes of Abyan.
It comes to you in the wake of armed men from Yafa and Al-Dhalea storming the house of a military commander from the governorate.
Dozens of notables and sheikhs issued a statement demanding that Ben Mubarak’s government and the Presidential Council take the necessary steps to do justice to the commander of the 115th Infantry Brigade, Ali Haidra Al-Hanashi, vowing to respond to the storming of the house.
Armed men from the STC factions affiliated with Al-Dhalea and Yafa’ stormed Al-Hanashi’s house and looted its contents, according to the statement, in addition to arresting his son.
The operation is one of a series of mutual attacks between armed factions in Abyan and Al-Dhalea, the frequency of which has escalated since the transitional coup against Hadi years ago and was fueled by regional conflicts extending into the 1980s.
