The Danish website Olfi said that a Danish frigate within the American coalition in the Red Sea miraculously survived a deadly Yemeni attack.

The Danish website specializing in defense affairs added: The news of the Danish frigate “ Iver Huitfeldt” shooting down drones in the Red Sea was presented as a success story, but the story hides a completely different reality, as the frigate and its crew were in direct danger due to the failure of the air defense systems.

It confirmed that the Danish frigate ” Iver Huitfeldt” faced several serious problems in a row in the Red Sea, which prevented the launch of missiles and put the ship and the mission at risk.

It pointed out that the frigate was forced to use surface-to-surface missiles against threats from Yemen, after the frigate’s combat management system and associated radars malfunctioned, which prevented it from launching interceptor missiles.

It also confirmed that the Danish frigate ” Iver Huitfeldt” returned home from the Red Sea in an emergency manner, due to a serious failure of the defensive weapons systems and the vital mission of the frigate.
