Clashes broke out between a security force and gunmen affiliated with a leader in the UAE-backed Transitional Council in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.
Sources reported that an Abyan security force raided a house in the Al-Mamdara area in search of those involved in the kidnapping of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, and clashed with a number of gunmen there.
They Added that during the raid, the force arrested a person named (Tammam Al-Batta), the guard commander of a member of the security department in the Transitional Council and the commander of one of the battalions in the free zone, Samih Al-Nourji, in addition to another.
Sourcesc confirmed the killing of a soldier from the Abyan security forces, named Abdullah Al-Kazmi, and the injury of others during the clashes.
