The Republic of Yemen condemned in the strongest terms the continued crimes of genocide in the Gaza Strip and the aggression against many West Bank cities and camps in flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Amb. Wahid Al-Shami, confirmed that the continuation of the Zionist killing machine in exterminating the Palestinian people in Gaza comes in light of the waning of the Arab voice and the increase in American support, which has encouraged this entity to expand its crimes that devastate humanity that are unprecedented in history, Pointing out that the escalation in the West Bank threatens to undermine security and peace in the region and the world.
He noted that the international community, which shows off to human rights and lectures others about them, has not done anything about what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories, while it maintains the world and does not sit still if a single crime committed elsewhere in the world, which reflects the double standards and hypocrisy of the international community.
The official spokesman called on the international community and the Security Council to condemn the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people and put pressure to stop the aggression and siege imposed on Gaza and end the Israeli occupation of Palestine, which is the longest occupation in the modern era.
He also called on Arab and Islamic countries to fulfill their role and moral responsibility to support the Palestinian people.
He reaffirmed that the leadership, Governments and people of the Republic of Yemen stand with the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle to establish their independent state on their national soil with “Holy Jerusalem” as its capital.
