The leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Osama Hamdan, confirmed that the Palestinian resistance succeeded in thwarting the Israeli plans that aim to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
In media statements published by the Palestinian Information Center Friday, Hamdan stressed that “the only solution lies in ending the occupation completely from all Palestinian territories.”
Hamdan indicated that the struggle will continue until the liberation of Palestinian land and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
He also explained that any agreement regarding the war on Gaza must include a cessation of aggression and a complete withdrawal from the Strip, noting that the number of martyrs exceeded 40,000, most of whom were children and women, as a result of the aggression on the Strip.
Hamdan called on the international community to pressure Israel to abide by what was agreed upon in the negotiations and ensure the cessation of the aggression that has been ongoing for more than 15 months.
