The Israeli National Security Institute downplayed the effectiveness of Israeli aerial assaults on Yemen, confirming that the airstrikes are unlikely to stop the Yemeni Armed Forces’ strikes deep into the Israeli territory or their naval attacks supporting Gaza.
In a report released on Sunday, the institute stated: “After the Israeli airstrike, the Houthis did not stop launching missiles toward Israel.”
It added, “It is highly unlikely that our strikes will force the Houthis to completely stop firing at Israel and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. The final outcome is complex.”
The report continued, “As expected and not surprisingly, even after the Israeli airstrike, the Houthis continued to launch missiles and drones toward Israel, pledging to continue until Israel ends its campaign in Gaza against Hamas,” confirming that Sana’a’s ability to sustain their attacks is still intact.
The institute pinned its hopes on Trump’s return to the presidency in the US to achieve Zionist goals, stating: “With Trump’s arrival, it is important for Washington to continue intensifying strikes against Yemen, and high-quality intelligence is the key to achieving these goals.”
The institute concluded that the battle against Yemen “won’t end soon as long as the battle in Gaza continues,” pointing out that “the road ahead is still long” for the Israeli entity.
The institute did not overlook the use of mercenaries and the involvement of the UAE and Saudi Arabia against the Yemeni people, adding, “The integrated solution is a ground campaign by ‘actors’ in southern Yemen, supported by the UAE and Saudi Arabia, to end the Houthis’ rule, and this is far from easy.”
According to this Zionist institute, “Any concessions to the Houthis through maritime trade would only strengthen their determination to ‘extort’ the international community and regional countries.”
The US and its allies have been bombing Yemen over the past year, violating the country’s sovereignty and international law. These illegal attacks were launched in response to Yemen’s campaign of solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip amid Israel’s genocidal war.
As part of this campaign, the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted ships linked to Israel or heading to and from ports in the occupied territories. These operations extended across the southern Red Sea, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the Gulf of Aden, and even the Arabian Sea.
In addition, Yemeni forces have carried out strikes against Israeli targets within the occupied territories.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to persist in their anti-Israel operations until the occupying regime ceases its bloody onslaught against Gaza.
