President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday stressed that the unjustified US-British aggression on Yemen has proven over the course of a year the failure of the US, Britain and Israel, and witnessed unprecedented events in the history of wars in the face of American arrogance, from which the peoples of the world have tasted the woes for decades.
President al-Mashat explained in his speech this evening on the anniversary of the US-British aggression that the direct aggression launched by the American and British enemy, along with the Zionist enemy, on Yemen on January 12, 2024 aims to support the criminal Israeli enemy and help it continue its crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in a manner that the world has never witnessed before.
He stated that the Yemeni people and their armed forces succeeded in implementing the decision to completely ban the navigation of ships associated with the criminal Israeli enemy, despite the difficulty and ferocity of the battle.
“Our armed forces, with all their formations, were able to export legendary epics that removed the crown jewel of American weapons, “aircraft carriers”, from military effectiveness, according to the testimony of the enemy and all the world’s experts”, he said, adding “these carriers became a burden in the range of our armed forces’ fire, to the point that the Americans began to hide them here and there for fear of targeting them.”
He pointed out that the Yemeni armed forces introduced new systems, most notably the “Palestine 2” hypersonic missiles and the Jaffa aircraft, which were able to penetrate all the most modern air defense systems in the world and successfully hit their targets, documented by Israeli camera lenses, and acknowledged by the senior leaders and criminals of this entity.
The President indicated that launching Yemeni hypersonic missiles, Yemen has today become one of the most advanced countries in the missile field, as only a limited number of countries in the world possess this technology.
He said, “As for our air defense systems, the armed forces, thanks to God, were able to neutralize the latest American spy planes, “MQ-9″, and shot down 14 of them in one year, which is an unprecedented record.”
His Excellency the President stated that our armed forces were able, in the intelligence and operational aspect, to “preempt and thwart multiple American and British plans that were preparing to carry out large-scale aggressive operations against Yemen, and were targeted before they began, and all of this is thanks to God, His care, support and assistance, because we are in the right position, and our cause is just, and our demands are humane and legitimate, which is to stop the criminal Israeli aggression against the oppressed Palestinian people and lift the siege, which is a moral humanitarian demand agreed upon by all the peoples of the world.”
He said, “In addition to its military aggression, the Americans have tried to impose political, economic and humanitarian pressures, and since the beginning of al-Aqsa flood, we have received many threats, but they have not and will not affect our position, God willing.”
The President added, “We say to Netanyahu, your messages will not shake a hair in the smallest of our children, and the world has seen the people of faith and wisdom live on air, standing firm in the squares and not shaken or terrified by your raids, so spare yourself such messages, which you must think about from now, will you stand up to our messages, and the occupying Zionists, to say no to this reckless person, before he takes them to hell.”
He explained that the Yemeni people, with their steadfastness in their religious, principled and humanitarian stance in supporting the Palestinian people, and their great and continuous weekly protests, and various mobilization activities and events, and their distinguished and frank media activity without tiring, boredom or stopping, recorded the greatest solidarity scene in the world.
President al-Mashat reiterated Yemen’s firm stance alongside the people in Gaza and their just cause and clear injustice, until the Palestinian people obtain their full rights, and it is a firm stance that will not change or be affected no matter the pressures, threats and sacrifices.
He said, “We affirm that our position in supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is a humanitarian and religious position that aims to stop the Israeli-American aggression against an oppressed and defenseless people, against whom the most heinous crimes unprecedented in history are being committed.”
He added, “We are fully prepared and ready to defend Yemen, its people, interests and gains in the face of any aggression imposed on us. In this context, we commend the large popular mass
