The Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, sent a congratulatory message to the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, on the success of the Lebanese Parliament in electing General Joseph Aoun as President of the Lebanese Republic.
In his congratulatory message, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i considered the successful electing a president for Lebanon a democratic achievement that would end the presidential vacuum, representing a beacon of hope for the Lebanese people.
He emphasized the importance of preserving the unity of the Lebanese social fabric and adhering to its national sovereignty in order to overcome all conspiracies and challenges arising from Israeli aggression, as well as the need to rebuild what was destroyed by the enemy entity and enhance economic and political stability.
He expressed his best wishes to the Lebanese president for success in his duties, achieving the hopes and aspirations of the Lebanese people, and strengthening his role in defending Lebanon’s unity and the nation’s crucial issues.
