The Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali al-Ra’i, discussed with the Prime Minister, Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi, today the latest developments and updates on both the national and Palestinian fronts.
During the meeting , Yahya Ali al-Ra’i reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, highlighting it as the central issue for the Arab and Islamic nations.
He commended the courageous stance of the Leader of the Revolution, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in supporting the Palestinian cause, especially in monitoring Israel’s compliance with the ceasefire agreement and ensuring the end of aggression and blockade.
Al-Ra’i emphasized on strengthening national unity to confront the continuous Zionist-American-British attacks on both the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples.
The meeting discussed enhancing coordination and cooperation between the Parliament and the government, particularly in completing urgent national projects and passing necessary laws to support current needs and national changes.
The Speaker confirmed that the Parliament would support the government in carrying out its shared responsibilities, particularly in passing laws and regulations for ongoing reforms.
For his part, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of cooperation between constitutional authorities for the success of the government, which is working based on plans that align with the demands of change and development.
He also emphasized the government’s focus on supporting community initiatives, particularly in the agricultural sector, to achieve self-sufficiency and sustainable development.
