Hodeidah Commemorates Martyrdom Of President Saleh Al-Sammad

The local authority and the General Mobilization in Hodeidah Governorate commemorated the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Saleh al-Sammad, with a large official and public presence, reaffirming his national stature and his role in the struggle.

The event was attended by Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Attifi, Saada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad, along with a number of deputy governors, scholars, and social figures.

Hodeidah’s Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, emphasized the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw inspiration from the values of sacrifice and redemption embodied in the path of the martyr Al-Sammad, highlighting his significant sacrifices for the sake of the homeland.

He said, “We remember the martyr Al-Sammad, who remains alive in the hearts and minds of the Yemeni people. He was a faithful model who embodied the identity and belonging of his people and presented the most remarkable examples of sacrifice in defense of the homeland and in service to his people.”

Halisi pointed out that the martyr Al-Sammad will remain a symbol of steadfastness and resilience, deriving his principles from the Quranic project established by the martyr leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God be pleased with him.

He stressed the importance of following his example in various fields.

The Deputy Governor reviewed the achievements of the martyr Al-Sammad, explaining that his national project was based on strengthening the internal front, achieving resilience, independence, reconciliation, and political stability, in addition to consolidating the principles of self-reliance in managing the state.

Meanwhile, the commander of the Support and Backup Forces, Major General Qassim Al-Hamran, affirmed that the martyr Al-Sammad presented an enlightened national project aimed at the renaissance of the nation, highlighting his leadership role in facing challenges.

He added, “The martyr Al-Sammad devoted himself to fulfilling his responsibilities under the aggression until he was martyred in this governorate.”

Al-Hamran emphasized the importance of continuing to follow the path of the martyr Al-Sammad and working collectively to enhance resilience and prepare to face challenges.

He stated that the assassination of Al-Sammad by the aggression was an attack on the vision of a modern Yemeni state, yet the Yemeni people remain steadfast in their journey toward freedom and independence.
