A meeting chaired by governor Abdullah Idris in Bayda province on Sunday reviewed the progress of various development and service projects being implemented with the support of the Social Fund for Development (SFD).
Dr. Mohammed al-Dailami, Director of the SFD’s Dhamar-Bayda Branch, presented a report on projects in water, sanitation, education, roads, and health sectors carried out over the past two years and planned for 2025, targeting the most needy areas in coordination with local authorities.
The meeting also discussed water and sanitation needs, with the governor praising the SFD’s role in addressing priority projects. He emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to overcome challenges and enhance development, noting the Fund’s focus on agriculture, irrigation, water, and institutional building for the current year.
The governor also reviewed a training course for community committee trainers for Bayda City Water Project, urging participants to apply their knowledge to the ongoing construction.
