A force affiliated with the Islah Party arrested a citizen, raided his home, and evicted its residents in the city of Marib, northern Yemen.
Sources reported that crews from the Facilities Protection Units, under orders from their commander, Ali Doman, raided the home of citizen Rafi Rabish Saud Humaydah and arrested him without cause.
They added that a Facilities Protection Unit returned after the raid and expelled his wife and children into the street, before demolishing the home, which Humaydah had owned since 2018.
The arrest of Humaydah and the demolition of his home sparked widespread resentment, especially since he had fought with the Islah forces in Marib since 2015, and two of his brothers were killed in those battles.
