The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has confirmed that Palestinians are dying in the Gaza Strip, which has been under a complete Israeli siege for the third consecutive month, as part of the ongoing genocide for more than a year and a half.
OCHA said in a statement published on Saturday on its “X” account, that 70% of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are in areas where Israeli forces are present, or under displacement orders, or both.
It stressed that the United Nations and its partners are ready to intensify the provision of aid to the Gaza Strip as soon as the Israeli siege, which has been ongoing since March 2, is lifted.
In describing the situation in the Gaza Strip, OCHA said: “Palestinians are dying amid a complete Israeli siege for the third consecutive month.”
