The Supreme Political Council (SPC) affirmed that Yemen is strongly positioning itself in the region and has successfully thwarted all attempts to dissuade it from supporting the Palestinians in the Gaza strip, which is enduring a starvation and a geocidal war committed by Zionist enemy forces.
This came during a meeting for the council chaired by President Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the Council.
President Al-Mashat stated, “The Zionist crimes and massacres against Palestinians in Gaza are an indelible stain on all who remain silent or complicit.”
During the meeting, President Al-Mashat briefed members of the Supreme Political Council on the background of recent developments related to Trump’s announcement of a ceasefire, commending the fraternal and responsible role played by the Sultanate of Oman in this regard.
He affirmed that what has occurred as a resounding victory – achieved by God’s grace and the leadership’s wisdom in confronting US military operations supporting “Israel”- until America announced its retreat after suffering a major defeat.
Al-Mashat further affirmed that military readiness remains at its peak across all levels, and that the response to Israeli aggression will be devastating, overwhelming, and—God willing—imminent.
President Al-Mashat reassured the Yemeni people of the stability of the economic situation and the availability of petroleum derivatives.
He emphasized that tremendous efforts are underway to reopen Sana’a International Airport and address the transportation needs of stranded Yemenis, along with restoring electricity infrastructure.
President Al-Mashat further affirmed that the Israeli enemy will face severe punitive consequences for its actions
The Supreme Political Council welcomed Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor as a new member of the Council and reviewed several military, security, and economic reports on its agenda, taking the necessary decisions accordingly.
