Mass rallies in Saada condemn Israeli aggression, Quran desecration

Yemen’s northern province of Saada witnessed mass popular rallies on Monday under the banner “In Support of the Quran and Al-Aqsa, Solidarity with Lebanon, and Affirmation of High Readiness to Confront Any Escalation by the Enemy.”

Crowds flocked to the squares from early morning hours, raising copies of the Quran, Palestinian and Lebanese flags, and Hezbollah banners.

Participants chanted slogans denouncing repeated offenses against the Holy Quran, alongside others supporting Palestine and Lebanon and condemning the United States and the Israeli entity.

They condemned the “absolute global silence” regarding repeated attacks by “Masonic Zionism” against the Holy Quran and Islamic sanctities. They called upon the free people of the Arab and Islamic world to undertake serious action against those who offend Islamic holy sites.

Participants affirmed their steadfastness on the faith-based and moral principle of supporting the causes of the Islamic nation—foremost among them Palestine and all countries of the Axis of Resistance—declaring their high readiness to confront any escalation by enemies in the coming phase.

A rally statement affirmed that the mass turnout comes “in support of the Holy Quran, backing for Al-Aqsa Mosque, solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, alongside affirmation of readiness for any escalation.”

The statement denounced “repeated offenses against the Holy Quran by Americans and Zionists,” as well as ongoing violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque. It called upon the peoples of the Islamic nation to stage million-strong marches, intensify boycotts of American and Israeli goods, and undertake serious action to confront the Zionist project.

The statement emphasized “the steadfastness of the Yemeni position supporting Gaza and Palestine,” announced “full solidarity with Hezbollah in Lebanon,” and stressed “high readiness to confront any new American or Israeli escalation in the region.”

It renewed affirmation that “the Yemeni people will remain steadfast in their position supporting the Holy Quran and the nation’s causes,” calling for adherence to the Holy Quran and preservation of faith-based identity, while renewing affirmation of “readiness and high preparedness to confront any escalation by enemies in the region.”
