Supreme Political Council member Mohammed Ali al-Houthi condemned the US-Saudi airstrike on Sana’a International Airport, describing it as a flagrant violation of international agreements and humanitarian law, and holding Washington and Saudi Arabia fully responsible for its consequences.
In a statement posted on his official social media accounts, al-Houthi said the United States and “its Saudi proxy” bear full responsibility for the renewed aggression and the continued blockade of Yemen.
Al-Houthi argued that the strike constituted a direct violation of international humanitarian law and reflected the continuation of daily war crimes through the ongoing blockade and starvation of the Yemeni people.
In a separate message, al-Houthi issued a warning over the latest developments, writing: “Patience has limits,” in remarks widely interpreted as signaling that Yemen may respond to the attack in order to reinforce its deterrence posture.
