Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has condemned new US sanctions targeting Hezbollah and the Lebanese resistance at the current stage, warning that such actions amount to explicit support for the Israeli enemy and effective participation in its crimes.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the ministry said that, in an open division of roles among Zionist arms, the US was imposing sanctions on one of Lebanon’s most significant political and resistance components in support of the Israeli enemy.
The ministry stated that the sanctions, along with other measures targeting Hezbollah, constitute a clear violation of international laws governing relations between states.
It added that when the Israeli enemy fails to achieve a military victory, the American steps in to complete the role, describing the latest US action as further evidence of Israel’s military failure.
The ministry concluded by urging Lebanon’s authorities to carefully reflect on the lessons of history, asserting that siding with the enemy ultimately leads to loss.
