The repeated desecration of the Holy Quran by Zionist-American elements reveals their explicit hostility to all sacred principles, their hatred for the divine message, their animosity toward moral values, and their rancor against all values of goodness and justice, according to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
In a statement issued Thursday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik said: “The problem of the Zionist Jews and their allies in America and the infidel West with the Holy Quran lies in its light—to the extent that they are dark, like bats of the night that are terrified of daylight and the sun’s radiance.”
He added: “Their problem with it lies in its purity and the sanctity of its teachings—to the extent that they are steeped in filth and impurity, like cockroaches that grow and multiply in rotten and filthy places.”
The Epstein Scandal and Gaza Crimes Expose Their True Nature
The leader emphasized that the Zionists and their allies “want human reality to remain like animal reality in the forests, where the strong devours the weak.”
He noted that “their true nature was exposed by the Epstein scandal, their crimes in the Gaza Strip, and the repeated scandals worldwide, which are testimonies and proofs of what God has exposed them to in the Holy Quran.”
Sayyed Abdul-Malik stressed that “the Muslim world’s failure to take a firm stance to prevent offenses against the holiest sanctity on earth—the Holy Quran—is a great negligence and a major sin with serious consequences for the nation.”
He emphasized that Muslims’ responsibility toward this clear enemy is a religious duty and a necessity to repel the evil of a clear, openly hostile, unjust, corrupt, and misguiding enemy.
Economic and Political Boycott as a Tool
The leader affirmed that “Islamic states, if they adopted a position of political and economic boycott alone—seriously and officially—could pressure America and the infidel West to cease such actions.”
He added that if Muslim peoples broadly activated economic boycotts of American goods and those of countries that sponsor Zionist criminal activity against the Quran, they would force them to desist.
Since the Zionists and their allies have made targeting Muslims’ relationship with the Quran a priority, Sayyed Abdul-Malik called upon Muslims to make “attention to the Holy Quran, strengthening connection to it, consolidating its sanctity, and cultivating its culture” a priority in response.
Yemen’s Practical Stance
Sayyed Abdul-Malik emphasized that Yemen is among the most proactive peoples in taking practical positions against the Zionist Jews and their allies, through demonstrations, cultural activities, media programs, economic boycotts, and its faith-based jihadist liberation path.
In concluding the statement, the leader called for making the stance against the enemies’ offense to the Quran “one of the most prominent topics in the activities and events our dear people will hold on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday, as well as in demonstrations and vigils.”
