Yemen’s Foreign Ministry warned insurance companies against being misled by false assurances from the Saudi regime, stressing that Yemen is more determined than ever to reclaim its rights and that action has become a religious responsibility, popular demand and national necessity.
The ministry said the Saudi regime is working to mobilize its supporters and mercenaries to harm Yemen and undermine its social fabric, affirming that those who refuse to participate in its plans are subjected to house arrest.
It also stressed that Riyadh is continuing its blockade of Yemeni airports and ports and seizing national resources to exhaust Yemen and impoverish its people. The ministry said such actions are now backfiring on Saudi Arabia through attacks on its military mobilizations, a blockade affecting its ports and mounting economic losses.
The warning comes as Yemen’s blockade-for-blockade policy places growing pressure on Saudi economic and maritime interests. Sana’a has repeatedly warned that any continued Saudi blockade of Yemeni ports and airports will carry direct consequences for Saudi infrastructure, shipping and trade.
