Yemen’s Armed Forces target Saudi military buildups in Taiz, Marib

Yemen’s Armed Forces carried out several military operations in recent hours targeting Saudi military deployments, weapons depots and command posts in Yemen’s Marib and Taiz provinces.

In a statement the Armed Forces stated that the forces targeted Saudi military concentrations, weapons warehouses and command centers in the Al-Mokha area and Tadawin Camp in Marib using a large number of ballistic missiles and drones.

The statement confirmed that the strikes were accurate and resulted in dozens of casualties, including Saudi nationals.

It added that the Yemeni forces would continue targeting Saudi military deployments involved in efforts to escalate and seize control of Yemen.

The Armed Forces urged Yemenis collaborators to abandon the path of collaboration and treason before it was too late.

The operation comes amid heightened tensions between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, with the Yemeni Armed Forces repeatedly warning that Saudi military movements and buildups will be met with direct retaliation. Sana’a has framed its recent military actions as part of a broader strategy aimed at deterring further Saudi escalation and pressuring Riyadh to end its blockade and military campaign.
