Washington Post: Gulf States Spend Large Amounts Of Money In Its War On Yemen While Ignoring The Syrian Refugees

In its report entitled ” The Arab world’s wealthiest nations are doing next to nothing for Syria’s refugees”, the Washington Post newspaper wondered that the rich Gulf states have not done anything for Syrian refugees that compared so huge money spent by both Saudi Arabia and the UAE on the war in Yemen this year.
The newspaper commented in the report published الجمعة, سبتمبر 4th on the failure of the six states members of the Gulf Cooperation Council for hosting Syrian refugees despite the availability of enormous material resources at those countries by saying: “It’s a case of indifference or complete absence of political will.”
The newspaper added that these countries aren’t totally innocent for they are playing a conspicuous role in funding and arming a constellation of rebel and Islamist factions fighting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
