Israeli settler injured in West Bank stabbing attack

An Israeli settler was stabbed in the upper part of his body in the village of Al-Auja, in the Jordan Valley, within the occupied West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces rushed to the village after receiving a report of the stabbing attack, following the operative’s escape.

The occupation forces closed off the Jordan Valley and deployed troops to search for the operative.

It should be noted that the Israeli occupation continues its attacks on the occupied West Bank through raids, arrests, and extrajudicial killings, in addition to daily incursions into Palestinian homes, confiscation of property, demolition and destruction of homes and structures, arson attacks on mosques and vehicles, bulldozing of agricultural lands and preventing farmers from accessing them, and the ongoing expansion of settlements.

This operation comes as a natural response to the daily and continuous crimes of the occupation.

Palestinian resistance factions praised Sunday’s operation as a legitimate response to daily settler crimes and terrorism across the West Bank.
