The forces of Yemen’s army and Popular Committees managed to retake strategic mountains in the Northern Province of al-Jawf from the Saudi-led coalition aggression forces, media reports said on Saturday.
Yemeni troops took full control over the Qa’ita, a strategic mountainous range in al-Maton District in Jawf Province; the Arabic-language al-Masirah TV network quoted a military source as saying.
The forces managed to recapture all the positions of the Saudi-led coalition in the area, the source said.
The Qa’ita Mountains are of strategic importance, consisting of a number of hill-tops overlooking the main road between al-Maton and Hazem districts, the main supply line for the Saudi-backed mercenaries in al-Maton.
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the Saudi-led coalition for nearly three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
