The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday repelled a large-scale infiltration of the mercenaries of the Saudi-led coalition s in Najran, a military official told Saba News Agency.
Dozens of the militias were killed and wounded and two military vehicles were destroyed during the repelling, the official added.
The infiltration was backed by coalition warplanes and Apache helicopters but without making any progress.
The official said that the engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle, loaded with mercenaries, in the west of Sudais site.
Meanwhile, the rocketry and artillery forces bombed gatherings of Saudi soldiers and its mercenaries at Talaa, Qiada and Shabaka sites.
