The Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday repelled an infiltration attempt of the Saudi-backed mercenaries in Yemen’s Jawf province, a military official told Saba News Agency.
The official confirmed dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured during their attempt to make progress in al-Maslub district but were foiled by the army.
Meanwhile, the artillery forces shelled several positions and reinforcements of the mercenaries in the same district, causing massive casualties in the lives and military gear.
