President Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday praised the role of Transport Ministry and its efforts to improve performance despite the difficult conditions as a result of the aggression and siege.
During his meeting with the transport minister, Zakaria al-Shami, the president stressed the importance of doubling efforts and working as one team to overcome the current challenges.
The meeting discussed the workflow at the ministry and its affiliated institutions and its plans for the coming period in light of the systematic targeting to airports and ports by the Saudi-led coalition.
The meeting also touched on aspects related to improving performance and developing revenues, and the difficulties facing the ministry’s work and ways to overcome them.
