The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, has on Friday called on the United Nations and international organizations to save the lives of two Yemenis who were born as conjoined twins.
“We call on the United Nations and the international organizations operating in Yemen to respond to the repeated calls to save the conjoined twins by taking them for treatment abroad,” al-Houthi said on his Twitter account.
Mohamed Ali al-Houthi held the United Nations and the organizations responsible in case they do not help the twins.
He further blamed U.S. and the Saudi-led coalition, which are responsible for the air embargo and blockade that increase the suffering of the Yemeni civilian population.
