Israeli occupation army announced the death of a soldier following the explosion of a drone launched by Hezbollah toward the Manara area near the Lebanese border on Sunday.
“Command Sergeant Major (Res.) Alexander Glovanyov, 47, of Petah Tikva, a heavy transport vehicle driver in the 6924th Transport Battalion, Transportation Center, fell during combat near the Israel-Lebanon border,” the occupation army said in a statement.
Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out a series of operations targeting Israeli military positions and troop gatherings in southern Lebanon and along the border areas.
