Spokesman of the Yemeni army, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, has on Monday threatened the Saudi regime with an appropriate response to the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on Al Thabet popular market in Saada province, which left 13 dead and 23 wounded.

“The Armed Forces will not stand idly by in front of the enemy’s crimes,” Yahya Sare’e said in a statement, adding that the army forces have “the strength and determination to respond to the unjust aggression and the brutal siege.”

He confirmed that the coalition’s crime against civilians in the Al Thabet market in Qutaber district proved the failure of the Saudi regime in both military and humanitarian terms.

The spokesman noted that the Saudi regime had committed the massacre in the popular market after the Yemeni forces had targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers and mercenaries with a Badr-F missile strike
