Abyan witnessed new confrontations between Hadi’s forces and the Transitional Council.
Hadi’s media quoted military sources talking about new progress in Khanfar after clashes it described as “limited” with the transitional forces while Emirati media reported that the security belt forces had made new progress in Al-Mhafd after its forces advanced to the Jarrah area.
These developments come after 3 days of exchange of artillery shelling between the two parties, as they come at a time when media sources spoke about a Saudi tendency to implement the Riyadh agreement within 3 days.
