WHO: 500 suspected cases of coronavirus verified in Yemen

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Sunday said that it has verified 500 possible infection cases of new Coronavirus in Yemen.

WHO representative in Yemen Dr. Altaf Musani said, in his media briefing, that the organization had verified 500 possible infection cases of the Coronavirus in Yemen, and it was confirmed that they are all free of the virus.

He affirmed that “Yemen is the only country in the Middle East region that has not recorded any cases of Coronavirus until Sunday morning.”

Dr. Musani called on the Yemeni people to adhere to the precautionary measures taken to combat the Coronavirus.
