The Public Health and Population Office in Taiz province opened on Thursday Dhabyah and Maqlad Health Unit in al-Ta’aiziya district.
At the opening, the director of the province’s health office, Dr. Abdul-Malik al-Mutawakel, explained that re-running of the health unit comes in light of modernizing the health sector in the province.
Al-Mutawakel pointed out the health unit had been out of service since 2008, indicating that it had been supplied with medical equipment, supplies and medicines.
He urged the health staff to redouble efforts to provide health services and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
