The Yemeni army’s military media on Monday released a video showing thermal scenes of monitoring and downing of the CH-4 drone belonging to Saudi-led coalition over Jawf province.

The scenes showed the moment of targeting the drone. The Yemeni Air Defenses used undisclosed missile to down the drown. It is believed to have been carrying hostile missions. US-Saudi aggression launched 2 raids to destroy the remaining wreckage.

The scenes also showed the remnants of the CH-4 fighter spy drone, which has a wide global reputation, and combines the capabilities of reconnaissance and bombing, and it is the first of its kind to be exported outside China.

The manufacturers of the CH-4 boast that it is the strongest in terms of its carrying capacity and aviation efficiency in the world. Its overall efficiency is better than the US MQ9 drone.

The Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, announced Sunday that Air Defenses had shot down a Chinese-made CH-4 plane while it was carrying out hostile operations in the airspace of Al-Marazeeq area in Al-Jawf governorate, reiterating that Yemen’s airspace is not open for anyone.

It is reported that the air defenses managed, last Friday, to shoot down a Chinese-made Wing Loong2 spy fighter drone in Najran’s airspace as well.
