The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sana’a on Friday condemned, in the strongest terms, the occupying Zionist entity forces’ storming Al-Aqsa Mosque, and assaulting and arresting worshipers.
In a statement it issued today, the ministry confirmed that this incursion is a dangerous escalation, a blatant provocation to the feelings of all Muslims, and a flagrant violation of the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to practice their religious rites.
The statement reiterated the Palestinians’ right to respond and self-defense, a right guaranteed by all international norms, laws and charters.
The ministry called on the international community to put pressure on the Zionist entity to stop its attacks against the Palestinian people and its continued desecration of Islamic sanctities.
The statement also affirmed the Yemeni government and people’s support for the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle until comprehensive liberation and the establishment of a Palestinian state on all Palestinian soil with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
